Tangent worked with typeface designer Leo Philp to create a bespoke headline typeface for the Games. The tri-line style reflects the structure, geometry and concentric nature of the Games logo. ‘2014 Pro’ was designed to harmonise with the Glasgow 2014 secondary typeface, Futura (SBOP), and features a full set of uppercase, lowercase, numerical and 156 other glyphs, forming a comprehensive and international suite of characters suitable for use across all 71 Commonwealth nations and territories.
